Our flagship product, Oscar Sort , is an AI-powered recycling assistant deployed in high-traffic spaces like stadiums, universities, corporate campuses, and PepsiCo partner locations. Oscar uses computer vision, real-time feedback, and engaging interfaces to help people sort better—and brands tell smarter stories.

We're now scaling fast and need a Full Stack Developer who can help us build seamless, powerful, and mission-critical interfaces across devices and platforms.

What You'll Be Building

As our Full Stack Developer , you'll lead the design and development of:

  • Real-time dashboards to visualize AI performance, engagement, and sustainability metrics
  • Mobile apps (iOS + Android) for partners and internal operations
  • Backend systems that handle high-volume sensor data , user behavior, and machine analytics
  • Interfaces connected to LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, LLaMA, etc.) to power smart user experiences
  • Pipelines for ingesting, cleaning, storing, and surfacing data at scale
  • Admin portals for clients and operations to control Oscar devices remotely
  • APIs & integrations with ad networks, CRMs, and third-party tools

Your Toolbox

You don't have to tick every box, but you should be excited about many of them:

Technologies & Tools

  • Frontend : React / Next.js, Tailwind, TypeScript, React Native
  • Backend : Node.js / Express / NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, GraphQL
  • Mobile : React Native (iOS + Android deployment), Flutter is a bonus
  • DevOps : AWS (Lambda, S3, CloudFront, DynamoDB, RDS, IoT Core, ECS/Fargate)
  • LLMs : Experience playing with and integrating OpenAI, Claude, LLaMA, LangChain, etc.
  • CI/CD : GitHub Actions, Docker, Terraform or Pulumi
  • Data & Pipelines : Stream processing (Kafka/Kinesis), ETL, observability (Datadog, Grafana)
  • Security : Familiarity with GDPR, data encryption, authentication best practices

We're Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has 5+ years of full-stack development experience building production-grade software
  • Has built and deployed real-time dashboards and control panels
  • Has deployed mobile apps that interact with hardware or sensors
  • Knows how to pipeline and structure large datasets across environments
  • Understands tradeoffs between developer velocity and long-term stability
  • Brings a maker mindset —you love building MVPs, testing ideas fast, and scaling what works
  • Can navigate ambiguity and take initiative in a fast-moving startup
  • Has experience with mission-critical systems —hardware in the loop, uptime matters
  • Thrives in a cross-functional team and can speak product, design, and ops

  • Experience with IoT or edge computing
  • Previous work in sustainability tech, climate tech, or smart cities
  • Has launched a product from scratch
  • Experience with Cursor , Copilot, or AI-powered development workflows
