Voice Actor – Audio Accent Collector Company: Mercor – connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Headquartered in San Francisco. Type: Contract Location: Remote Compensation: $25–$35 per hour Commitment: Flexible hours Seniority level: Not applicable Role Responsibilities Call a demo line and record short sessions on the caller side only. Ensure each call sounds natural by varying tone and pace, and including small pauses or filler words. Conduct real phone calls, not VoIP, and include some background noise for realism. Work independently to meet deadlines while improving the realism of audio data. Collaborate asynchronously to ensure quality and consistency in audio collection. Qualifications Must be based in the USA, Canada, or the UK. Must have a New England accent – spoken in New York and Boston. Deliverables Up to 30 phone calls in 6 variations (~180 calls).
