We are looking to fill the position of Supply Technician for a distribution client located in Ville St-Laurent.
Your responsibilities are:
Monitor the supply chain for all operations, coordinate its implementation and oversee its development;
Plan the purchases of raw materials and packaging products and supervise their execution;
Manage product inventory levels and inventory turnover rate. Monitoring at the demand management level;
Plan all supply logistics;
Coordinate the follow-up of orders, their receipt and delivery times;
Periodically monitor production needs and project progress;
Make sure to maintain control of documentation and business processes related to procurement;
Ensure that deadlines are met to avoid stockouts while maintaining a level of inventory that maximizes its rotation.
Contribute to customer service satisfaction
Contribute to fine-tuning the procurement process in order to meet the demand related to our sales.
Ensure that new products are ordered as soon as possible and correspond in all respects to the approved characteristics.
Interact with the product managers and warehouse operations as well as with several of the suppliers including the packaging managers
College diploma or university degree in administration, logistics;
2 to 3 years of experience ideally
Sense of organization, dynamism and autonomy;
Ability and desire to learn;
Being familiar with the A/S 400 and JDE environment an asset;
Have strong communication and teamwork skills;
Bilingualism (French and English).
