What We Offer 3rd Class Power Engineer: $32.82/hour Millwright Dual Ticket: $39.01/hour Electrician Dual Ticket: $39.91/hour Day shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (8-hour shifts) Overtime and call-ins required as needed Benefits & Perks First Aid premiums available Extended Health, Dental, Life & AD&D – 100% employer-paid Short-Term & Long-Term Disability – 70% employer / 30% employee Health benefits begin the first day of the month following hire; additional benefits after probation Pension Plan: BC Pulp & Paper Pension Plan (Employer 10%, Employee 8%) with bridging benefits at age 60 Paid Holidays: 13 annually (including Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, and one floating holiday) Vacation: 2–7 weeks based on service, plus supplemental vacation after 5 years Employee Assistance Program Share Purchase Plan and Profit Sharing available after one year Stable, long-term employment with opportunities to learn and advance Key Responsibilities Safely operate and maintain boilers and utility systems Prepare and monitor starch batches for production Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance Troubleshoot and repair steam plant issues Maintain accurate logs and system readings Follow all maintenance and safety procedures Assist with plant start-ups and shutdowns Work closely with production and maintenance teams to reduce downtime Qualifications Valid 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate (Manitoba) Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings Basic computer proficiency Solid understanding of safety programs and procedures Ability to work independently with minimal supervision How to Apply If you are a motivated 3rd Class Power Engineer looking for a stable, day-shift role in a team-driven environment, apply today to #J-18808-Ljbffr
