CES Plumbing is seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyperson Plumber (306A) to join our fast-growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in high-rise condominiums. Following safe work practices, the Journeyperson Plumber will utilize their expertise and knowledge to diagnose plumbing issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in construction projects involving plumbing changes and/or additions
  • Respond to service calls and assess the concern
  • Assist in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and pressure testing of all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, and plumbing systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
  • Assist in the preparing and cleaning of work areas for daily projects including the packing and picking of materials/tools for daily projects from site, suppliers or shop
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition
  • Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, climbing, etc.
  • Maintain and service plumbing systems and components
  • Test and replace defective equipment
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects
  • Submit work orders for review and approval
  • Train and mentor Plumbing apprentices as required
  • Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
  • Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and repair techniques.


Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson (306A) Plumber License
  • Must possess a "full G" Ontario driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Graduate of a Community College Plumbing Program is preferred
  • Experience working in high-rise buildings is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is required
  • Experience with routine maintenance operations
  • Familiarity with operating basic hand tools is necessary for the role
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Professional appearance consistent with organization expectations
  • A team player with an above-average work ethic
