Our client, a leader in sustainable practices, is seeking a Senior Manager – Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) to join their team. As a Senior Manager – ESG, you will be part of the Supply Chain department supporting various internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for sustainability which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior Manager – Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Location: Winnipeg, MB Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000 What's the Job? Lead & coordinate HIGG Index requirements with internal stakeholders, supply chain partners, and the Sustainable Apparel Coalition. Oversee B Corp certification requirements, collaborating with internal teams and B Corp auditors. Manage and monitor a Carbon Neutrality strategy, including tracking Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions. Outline and implement company's Circular Economy initiatives. Conduct ESG training for internal staff and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in communication. What's Needed? An advanced degree (Masters or equivalent) in environmental engineering, environmental project management, or a related field. Minimum 6 – 8 years of relevant experience in private sector firms, preferably in apparel manufacturing. Proven ability to identify environmental/social risks and develop effective mitigation measures. Strong analytical skills to monitor and report on ESG policies and practices.
