Vehicle Field Inspector (Part‑time) – EBlock The primary responsibility of an Inspector is to conduct a comprehensive inspection of assigned vehicles and generate a Condition Report (CR) that accurately reflects the vehicle’s condition. Assigned vehicles are typically located at dealerships but may occasionally be done at one of our facilities. This position requires a willingness to travel to perform responsibilities, a keen attention to detail as well as the ability to build strong relationships with customers. The role may also involve other job‑related activities as needed to support the business. This is a part‑time role. You will be compensated $19.00 per hour, $4.00 per vehicle captured, and mileage reimbursement. Schedule: Up to 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday. What You Will Do Conduct vehicle inspections at a variety of locations including dealerships, physical auctions, and off-site sites. Identify, assess, and document structural damage, frame condition, paintwork, alignment of body panels, missing parts, and mechanical problems. Utilize training and industry best practices while following management‑provided work instructions and procedures regarding inspections and documentation. Develop strong relationships with customers through regular interaction to meet and exceed their expectations. Ensure a high level of accuracy to minimize arbitrations. Follow all applicable safety and health procedures. May be required to locate, start, and move vehicles if directed. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. What You Will Need Must be at least 21 years of age, have reliable transportation, and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. 1–3 years of experience in the automotive industry (preferred). Problem‑solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative approaches. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating in a team environment. Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Working knowledge of web‑based applications and automotive inspection tools (preferred). Detail‑oriented with exceptional customer service skills and dependability. What We Offer Competitive pay: $19.00 per hour, $4.00 per vehicle captured, and mileage reimbursement.
