Area Sales Manager – Homes by Dream Be the driving force behind home sales in a vibrant community. Lead a high‑performing sales team and build lasting relationships with buyers, from initial interest through to possession.
Responsibilities
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the community. Develop and execute a prospecting plan using Salesforce and multiple communication channels (phone, email, web). Deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring buyer expectations are surpassed throughout the entire home‑buying process. Analyze competitor offerings in new‑home and resale markets and provide insights to guide marketing and sales strategies.
Collaborate with the Director of New Home Sales to develop and execute a sales strategy for the community. Oversee accurate and efficient management of all Purchase Agreements, documentation, and signatory responsibilities from point of sale through to closing. Coach sales associates, conduct role‑playing, and provide interactive instruction to drive team performance. Attend regular sales meetings and participate in bi‑weekly updates with the construction team.
Support effective, efficient morning opening and evening closing of the sales centre, ensuring a clean and well‑presented showhome. Meet with the construction team bi‑weekly or as needed to receive updates on the construction status of client and spec homes, and provide regular construction updates to purchasers through to possession.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years new‑home sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Minimum 2 years leadership experience focused on sales coaching and training (bonus). Post‑secondary degree or diploma in business or related field (or equivalent experience). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Available to work evenings and weekends; compensation is primarily commission‑based. What Working in a Sales Centre Entails Arrive 15 minutes prior to opening, lock the sales centre and set alarms at closing. Maintain a clean and tidy sales centre office and ensure the showhome is always sparkling. Ensure the sales centre is adequately staffed at all times while open.
