Learn more at Purpose The Commercial Data Science team within J&J Innovative Medicine Technology seeks a Senior Data Scientist who crafts, develops, and fields data‑science solutions that drive impact for patients and J&J. This role powers business value by enabling multiple units to make data‑driven decisions. Responsibilities Stay at the cutting edge of machine learning, AI, and data science; conduct research and develop algorithms that influence organizational decision‑making. Lead complex projects from conception to delivery, ensuring quality and alignment with business objectives. Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering growth within a dynamic, multi‑therapeutic environment. Qualifications / Requirements PhD or Master’s with 2+ years of industry experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or related discipline. Strong knowledge of machine‑learning platforms and techniques (regression, decision trees, clustering, neural networks, Bayesian models, etc.). Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL. Experience delivering data‑science projects using predictive, mining, or text‑mining technologies. Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex methods/results to diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications Experience with commercially available healthcare data sets. Hands‑on AI implementation experience on commercial platforms. Other Position location: Toronto, ON, Canada.
