Position Details Position: Bilingual English–Japanese Language Expert Type: Independent Contractor Location: Remote Duration: 1+ months Commitment: 10+ hours/week Role Responsibilities Review English-to-Japanese translations for fluency, accuracy, and local relevance. Flag unnatural phrasing and suggest culturally appropriate alternatives. Assess AI-generated outputs for quality, tone, and context alignment. Provide written feedback on nuanced linguistic errors or ambiguities. Maintain consistency and attention to detail across multiple review tasks. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines with flexible hours. Qualifications Native-level fluency in Japanese and fluent English proficiency. Strong reading speed and comprehension in both languages. Demonstrated experience with translation review or linguistic QA. High attention to detail and cultural sensitivity.
