Senior FCRM Testing Analyst – AML Technology (4087) Location: Toronto, Ontario, CanadaHours: 37.5Sector: Anti‑Money LaunderingCompensation: $76,800 - $115,200 CAD Department Overview The Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) Enterprise Testing Team (formerly Global Anti‑Money Laundering) sits within TD’s second line of defense and conducts design and operating effectiveness testing of AML/ATF, Sanctions, and ABAC controls across Canada, Europe, and Asia‑Pacific. Key Responsibilities Oversee and independently perform testing of AML/ATF controls for technologies used by Global AML FIU, High‑Risk Investigations, Sanctions Operations, and ABAC teams. Lead communication and reporting processes with multiple stakeholders, including senior management. Manage a team of Supporting Analysts throughout all phases of a testing engagement. Serve as a subject‑matter expert on functional areas and applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., PCMLTFA), coaching and educating others. Research and evaluate risk‑analysis methodologies for assigned engagements. Recommend policy and guideline enhancements based on testing observations. Interact with FCRM lines of business and technology stakeholders to maintain a culture of risk management. Prepare and present complex reporting, analysis, and assessments to drive process improvements. Lead projects and initiatives, including integration of cross‑functional processes. Stay current on emerging regulatory trends and recommend improvements to senior management. Report to a Manager. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in STEM fields with over 2 years of relevant work experience. Ability to comprehend and write code/macros; develop scripts for queries and parsing in SQL, Python, or other languages. Basic knowledge of running code in a cloud environment. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with business units, advisory, senior management, and partners at all levels. Nice to Have Exposure to model governance (AI/non‑AI) including model validation. Customer, Shareholder, and Employee Accountabilities Execute testing engagements per standards, achieving completion within target timelines. Conduct analytical research and collaborate with key partners throughout engagements. Provide objective advice and recommendations on control adequacy. Follow up findings per established standards. Act as a subject‑matter expert and represent the area of specialization on projects. Proactively identify issues needing escalation and liaise with appropriate groups. Prioritize workload and deliver quality results on schedule. Contribute to analysis, due diligence, and implementation of initiatives within defined responsibilities. Document research clearly to support engagement requirements. Keep abreast of emerging trends and regulatory changes. Manage relationships across business lines and controls functions. Communicate results effectively to testing managers and stakeholders. Maintain a risk‑management culture supported by effective processes.
