Why is this role open: The firm is expanding and looking for a Senior Architect to lead projects and contribute to the firm’s long-term growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated architect to take on a leadership role within an established, design-focused practice. Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate in-house teams and external consultants on complex projects. Oversee construction review and contract administration phases. Contribute to refining and improving office policies, procedures, and systems. Must-haves: Architecture degree. Licensed member of the Ontario Association of Architects (or another provincial association). Minimum 10 years of architectural experience . Strong design, technical, and organizational skills. Proficiency in CAD and Revit. Extensive knowledge of local construction systems, detailing, and sustainable design integration . Experience navigating city development and permit processes. Nice-to-haves: LEED, WELL, or other sustainability certifications. Ability to work in French. Experience working in a collaborative studio environment. Remote/Hybrid: This role is based in Ottawa, ON , 3-5 days in office, flexible. Perks & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience. Group health and dental insurance.
