Join a high‑performing operations team as our Underwriting Team Lead where you'll oversee life insurance underwriting from submission to policy issuance. This role blends leadership, technical expertise, and operational excellence with a strong emphasis on direct client engagement. What You’ll Do Lead and mentor Underwriting Associates and Account Service Representatives Work closely with clients to complete applications, discuss sensitive medical and financial information, and ensure a smooth, respectful experience. Guide complex cases and pre‑underwriting assessments Manage carrier relationships and streamline processes Support the launch and growth of our external underwriting platform What You Bring LLQP license and 3–5 years in life insurance underwriting or case management Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, carrier systems, and medical terminology Experience leading teams and improving operational workflows Bonus: FLMI, ACS, AALU, or CLU designation (or in progress) Core Competencies Results‑driven, client‑focused, accountable, and proactive We’re a high‑performing, entrepreneurial team redefining what it means to serve Canada’s most successful business owners.
