Join to apply for the Senior Software Developer (Frontend) role at Solace. Overview This position is for a Senior Software Developer specialized in frontend systems. In this role, you will be a key technical leader working on the Solace Agent Mesh: an event-driven Integration and Orchestration Platform for Agentic AI that securely connects, orchestrates, and scales AI agents in real-time. You will take a pivotal role in blending advanced AI technologies with our core products as well as our internal tooling. Your expertise will help us create smarter, more intuitive systems that redefine user interaction and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with various teams, providing technical leadership and innovative solutions that push the boundaries of what is possible. What You’ll Do Technical Leadership: Communicate and lead discussions with the broader team through meetings, demos, and documentation Design and Develop: Design and create robust, scalable React frontend applications and user interfaces that interact with the Solace Platform including the Solace Agent Mesh Full Lifecycle Development: Participate in requirements definition, software design, implementation, testing, bug fixing, and deployments of new products/solutions using agile software development practices Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with teams across the organization as features are often distributed between the frontend applications and backend APIs/services Performance Optimization: Analyze and tune frontend applications for optimal performance in high-throughput, real-time environments Quality Assurance & Build Pipelines: Write and maintain comprehensive automated tests and CI/CD integration pipelines for frontend applications Problem Solving: Diagnose and fix both internal and field-found UI/UX defects Technical Documentation: Create clear, concise documentation for React components and frontend architecture What You Bring 7+ years of professional experience in all phases of Java software development Experience developing modern React applications with TypeScript and its ecosystem Experience building responsive, accessible web applications using modern CSS frameworks and design systems Experience designing and implementing user interfaces that consume RESTful APIs and real-time data streams Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API) and modern React patterns (hooks, suspense) Experience using AI technologies and coding-assisted tools such as GitHub Co-pilot, Cline, Claude Code, Aider and Ro Ability to deliver production-quality frontend applications backed by automated tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) Interested in frontend performance analysis and optimization techniques A self-starter, motivated individual who loves to learn and be challenged A team player who can collaborate within cross-functional teams Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences Experience with modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, ESBuild) and package managers Experience with CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications Desirable Skills Experience with AI/ML user interfaces, data visualization, and dashboard development for complex systems Experience building or working with backend APIs and understanding of full-stack development Experience with real-time web technologies (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, WebRTC) Experience with event-driven frontend architectures and real-time data streaming visualization Experience with microfrontend architectures, component libraries, and design system development Experience with cloud-native frontend deployment strategies and containerization of web applications Why You’ll Want to Join Us at Solace We have an awesome team You’ll get to work with some of the smartest individuals in the business.
