Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned BigID Data Privacy Technical Architect with deep expertise in data privacy, governance, and architecture. This role will lead the design and implementation of scalable data privacy solutions using BigID and related technologies, ensuring compliance with global data protection regulations and enabling robust data governance frameworks. Key Responsibilities: • Architect and implement BigID solutions for data discovery, classification, and privacy compliance. • Design and optimize data models for privacy-centric use cases, including PII detection, data lineage, and consent management. • Integrate BigID with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks) and governance tools (e.g., Collibra). • Lead technical workshops with stakeholders to capture privacy requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. • Establish and maintain data dictionaries, glossaries, catalogs, and lineage documentation. • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and data governance teams to ensure alignment with regulations such as PIPEDA, Quebec’s Law 25, Ontario bill 194, CCPA/CPRA (California), CPA (Colorado), NERC CIP and FERC. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to implementation teams and partners. Your Skills and Experience: • Minimum 10 years of experience in data architecture, privacy engineering, or enterprise IT. • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with BigID platform and modules. • Expertise in BigID deployment topologies (SaaS, On-Prem, Hybrid, Containerized) • Expertise in BigID connector types, discovery methods and integration protocols including AI based scanning methods • Proven experience designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures and privacy frameworks. • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standards mentioned under Key Responsibilities section. • Strong SQL and scripting skills with ability to capture complex transformations and business rules. • Experience with data governance practices including data lineage, impact analysis, and data quality. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. • Ability to work autonomously and lead cross-functional teams.
