Group Accountant

Duties & Responsibilities Job & Company Description: A leader within the retail industry is looking for a Chartered Accountant that has worked in a JSE environment to join their team of professionals. This exciting company is proudly South African and has grown into an industry leader within the retail industry.The successful candidate will be responsible for: External group reporting process Completion of the full suite of financial publications, with timeous submission to the JSE and shareholders All external financial publications Statutory annual financial statements of all entities within the Group Statutory annual financial statements with regulatory requirements Group Financial Technical champion Calculation and proposal of dividend declarations Control and maintain all consol journals General ledger account Intergroup balances and transactions Profit forecasts for all provisional tax payments Keeping up to date with IFRS standards Education: CA(SA) Job Experience & Skills Required: 2 to 4 years experience within a JSE listed environment APPLY NOW If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly. #J-18808-Ljbffr
