SAP BASIS Consultant • Toronto – 3‑4 days onsite • 10+ years of experience in SAP BASIS, HANA DB administration. Responsibilities Perform SAP system copies including Oracle/HANA database and SAP client copies. Handle SAP certificates, SNC configurations and apply security patches. Conduct SAP upgrades (kernel, support packs) and perform system startup/shutdown. Transfer code between environments and carry out daily health checks and monitoring. Renew certificates and manage application onboarding/offboarding. Restore environments (refreshes) and reset passwords via scripts. Administer SAP Java stack systems and SAP Solution Manager configurations. Manage Sybase IQ database administration and troubleshooting. Work with SAP HANA database in HA environment (Suse pacemaker cluster). Operate in UNIX/Linux environments. Configure SAP Cloud Connector, SAP BTP, SAP CPI, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP ADS products. Participate in on‑call rotational support and utilize ITSM tools (ServiceNow, JIRA). Qualifications Mid‑Senior level with at least 10 years of SAP BASIS experience. Extensive hands‑on knowledge of SAP HANA, Oracle, Sybase IQ, and SAP Java stack. Proficient in SAP upgrades, kernel upgrades, support packs, and security patches. Experience with SNC, certificates, and system copy operations. Familiarity with UNIX/Linux, Suse pacemaker clusters, and HA clustering.Strong scripting skills (e.g., password reset, automation). Experience with SAP Cloud Connector, BTP, CPI, SuccessFactors, and ADS. Ability to work in on‑call, rotational support model and use ServiceNow/JIRA.
