Job Description Responsible for the planning, design and build of security architectures; oversees the implementation of network and computer security and ensures compliance with corporate security policies and procedures. Responsibilities Advanced planning, design and build of security systems, applications, environments and architectures; oversees implementation and ensures compliance with information security standards and corporate policies. Provide technical advice and direction to support design and development of secure architectures. Participate in incident management teams; bring advanced-level skills to respond to security events, investigate intrusions and breaches, and oversee root‑cause analysis. Coordinate incidents with other business units and may act as Incident Commander for serious incidents; develop new methods, playbooks, scripts, applications and tools, and train others. Evaluate existing and proposed technical architectures for security risk, recommend controls to mitigate risks, including design assessments, risk assessments and threat modeling. Research, track and manage information security threats and vulnerabilities; conduct in‑depth analysis and apply programming/scripting knowledge. Work with senior management to develop and implement a multi‑year security roadmap. Provide counsel and guidance to junior security operations engineers. Qualifications Certifications and experience: Pivotal experience in security architecture design, incident response, threat modeling and risk assessment. Advanced knowledge of network and computer security. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Compensation and Benefits California: Hiring range in CAD from $76,700 - $167,600 per year. United States: Hiring range in USD from $106,300 - $223,400 per year; may be eligible for bonus and equity.
