Job Details We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary offices. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance. About the role This role supports the design and delivery of total rewards programs that align with business goals and enhance employee experience. You will conduct market research, manage compensation cycles, and provide guidance on job evaluations, salary recommendations, and incentive programs. Responsibilities include administering benefits and wellness programs, analyzing data for compliance and decision-making, and creating communication materials to promote understanding of total rewards. You’ll also lead or contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the function. About the day-to-day Support the development and execution of total rewards strategies that align with business goals and enhance employee experience. Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable compensation and benefits practices. Independently partners with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide guidance on job evaluations, salary recommendations, and incentive programs. Assist in the design and administration of annual compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, and equity programs, system set up and communication/training. Support or manage vendor relationships and support the administration of group benefits, wellness initiatives, and retirement programs. Analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Contribute to the development of communication materials and training to enhance employee understanding of total rewards offerings. Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Total Rewards function, leading assigned programs/projects. About the qualifications 5+ years of experience in total rewards, compensation, or benefits, preferably within the financial services industry. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem‑solving skills with advanced proficiency in Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams to drive results. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of Canadian compensation and benefits regulations and best practices. Experience with HRIS and compensation tools and modules (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) is preferred.
