Serve residents at Greenwood Court in Stratford as a Casual Dietary Aide using food service, dishwashing, and preparation skills.
The Food Service Worker supports Greenwood Court, Tri-County Mennonite Homes, a Community of Care for seniors aging in place. This casual position includes serving food, dishwashing, related duties, and food preparation under the cook’s direction. Experience working with food and commitment to continuous improvement are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve food to Greenwood Court residents
- Wash dishes and complete related duties
- Aid food preparation under the cook’s direction
- Operate kitchen utensils and equipment safely
- Follow verbal and written instructions
Requirements:
- Experience working with food
- Knowledge of basic nutrition and special diet needs
- Effective communication with residents, families, staff, and public
- Ability to stand and lift throughout the workday
- Genuine concern for elderly residents
