Lead evening and weekend shifts at Simcoe Dairy Queen using team guidance, task delegation, and food service operations skills.
The Shift Leader oversees daily operations while maintaining service and product quality standards. This position guides team members, manages breaks, and adjusts staffing. Responsibilities include food safety, inventory communication, customer service, and secure closing procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead shifts and complete opening, mid-day, and closing checklists
- Delegate tasks, manage breaks, and adjust staffing levels
- Train team members on portioning, cleanliness, and policy compliance
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and notable incidents
- Complete closing, sanitation, security, and equipment procedures
Requirements:
- Availability for evenings and weekends
- Previous food service or retail leadership experience
- Valid Food Handler Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills
Support Simcoe Dairy Queen operations through shift leadership, food safety, customer service, and reliable team coordination.
