Your role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced talent hunter to join our growing team at our headquarters in Vancouver. In this role, you will collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry as they work to develop and promote a world-class product for our customers. As the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner , you play a critical role in shaping how Global Relay attracts, assesses, and hires top talent. You are more than a recruiter—you're a trusted advisor to hiring leaders, a subject matter expert in talent strategy, and a mentor within the Talent Acquisition team.

You will take ownership of high-volume, full-cycle recruitment while also leading complex, senior, and niche searches that directly support our continued growth. Are you up for the challenge? If this sounds like you, we’d love to receive your application Your responsibilities Own and drive full-cycle recruitment from sourcing & screening, through to offer acceptance and onboarding, with accountability for exceptional outcomes Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior stakeholders, providing market insights, talent mapping, and guidance on hiring strategies Lead complex, senior, or niche searches and proactively identify creative solutions to hiring challenges Build and maintain robust talent pipelines using proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and data-driven approaches Identify target companies, professional associations, user groups, and communities to inform and strengthen search strategies Conduct comprehensive candidate screens and interviews to assess, validate, and select top talent Champion recruitment best practices, interview excellence, and a high-quality candidate experience Develop and maintain strong partnerships, and build trust as talent acquisition subject matter expert with hiring managers across all levels of the organization Mentor and provide guidance to other Talent Acquisition team members, contributing to continuous improvement and team capability Leverage and master the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accurate, compliant, and up-to-date candidate records Coordinate and manage relationships with external recruitment agencies where required Complete reference checks as part of the hiring compliance process Compile recruitment metrics and status reports to track effectiveness and inform decision-making Ensure Global Relay’s recruitment processes are clearly communicated and consistently adopted Represent Global Relay professionally at recruitment events, career fairs, networking events, and information sessions Stay abreast of local industry & legislation updates and advise HR Leadership team as appropriate Be an active participant and contributor to industry & in-house recruitment events Support special projects and broader HR initiatives as needed About you 8+ years of experience in full-cycle Talent Acquisition, or with equivalent exposure Demonstrated success operating at a senior partner level; experience in a SaaS or high-tech environment strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume recruitment across a variety of roles, while maintaining efficiency and consistently delivering quality hires Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence hiring managers and senior stakeholders through insight, data, and sound judgment Strong consultative and strategic mindset with experience advising on talent availability, hiring strategies, and workforce needs Demonstrated experience mentoring or coaching recruiters and contributing to best practices and continuous improvement Strong knowledge of relevant employment regulations and hiring best practices Extensive experience as a super user of Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse preferred) and advanced proficiency with MS Office Excellent time management, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities and multiple searches Data-driven and analytical, with strong problem-solving skills Skilled at managing multiple priorities while handling sensitive information and confidential matters with appropriate discretion Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with strong business acumen and attention to detail Self-starter who thrives working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Compensation Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbia’s pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background. The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values.
