Clearview Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate individual to fill the full-time temporary position of Family School Liaison Worker at William E. Hay Stettler Secondary Campus in Stettler, AB. The position will start immediately and it is anticipated to be for a one year term.
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and innovative individual who can foster positive and productive relationships with students, families and staff. A primary responsibility is to conduct individual and group interventions, and also provide universal prevention programming within the school and community settings. Specifically, we are seeking an exceptional individual who possesses:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a record of fostering collaborative team relationships with school staff as well as community agencies to support the learning needs of students;
Ability to establish and maintain positive, supportive relationships with students and families
Detailed program planning and high level organizational skills with a commitment to the ongoing learning of researched-informed student supports;
Ability to maintain accurate records of services provided, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards
Strong initiative and can work independently while also demonstrating flexibility and adaptability; and
A deep understanding of socio-emotional learning (SEL) needs of students and experience supporting these needs individually and in small group settings.
A diploma in Social Work or related field is required but a Bachelor of Social Work is preferred. Active registration with appropriate professional association is required.
