Operate an extruder at Hood Packaging Corporation’s Montreal Plant, transforming resin into plastic film while applying SQF and HACCP principles. French fluency is required.
This experienced Apprentice works under the Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment serving food industry customers. The work involves preparing and operating equipment that produces rolls of plastic film. Success requires disciplined execution, strong communication, and commitment to quality and safety policies supporting continued SQF certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the extruder for production operations
- Operate the extruder to transform resin into plastic film
- Produce rolls of plastic film for food industry customers
- Follow quality and safety policies during manufacturing activities
- Support continued maintenance of SQF certification
Requirements:
- Experience as an apprentice
- Familiarity with SQF and HACCP principles
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Disciplined, punctual, organized, and proactive approach
