Build Python and SQL skills as a Data Analytics and Automation Co-op at JDS Energy & Mining, supporting practical internal workflow improvements.
This four-month co-op helps transform business data into useful insights and tools. You will contribute to AI, data analytics, API integration, Power BI dashboards, and process automation. Prior experience with every listed technology is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop AI and data analytics solutions for business challenges
- Prepare, clean, transform, and analyze data using Python and SQL
- Integrate APIs with Microsoft 365 services and platforms
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations communicating insights
- Automate processes using Python or Power Automate
Requirements:
- Student interested in programming and working with data
- Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn
- Ability to use version control tools collaboratively
- Interest in technical discussions and solution design
- Willingness to document processes, findings, and outcomes
