The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Experience Minimum of three years’ experience as an Engineer in charge of a shift in a first-class plant, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with instrumentation and operating experience (including minor troubleshooting) with electrical and electronic industrial controls required. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Complete High School education, Manitoba Standards, preferred. Certification/Licensure/Registration In accordance with the Regulations under the Power Engineers Act, the incumbent requires a valid and current Manitoba Second Class Power Engineer Certificate. Preference will be given to applicants with a license as an Instrument Technician, Millwright, Pipefitter, or Electrician. Qualifications and Skills Not Applicable Physical Requirements Must take extreme care in performance of tasks as in close contact with exposed high temperature piping, rotating equipment and high voltages.
