AVP, Architecture, Transaction Banking & Payments Join to apply for the AVP, Architecture, Transaction Banking & Payments role at TD Description du poste The Head of Architecture, Global Transaction Banking and Payments is responsible for managing the GTB and Payments Architecture team and working with partners to develop and maintain technology strategy in alignment with business strategies. The focus is on the strategy, design and evolution of effective, integrated, efficient banking technology applications from development to production in alignment with enterprise architecture. This role is accountable for creating a culture of innovation within GTB and Payments to add business value and drive competitive advantage. Through fostering ideas, we aim to advance how we leverage technology advancements to improve products, processes and services for our customers. Lieu de travail Toronto, Ontario, Canada Horaire 37.5 hours per week Secteur d'activité Solutions technologiques Détails de la rémunération $145,000 - $200,000 CAD Accountabilities Responsible for Solution Architecture service for a portfolio of projects across delivery organizations Build shared components and re‑use according to enterprise guidelines Provide thought leadership in the overall execution of the GTB and Payments technology strategy Governance and advisory activities for projects initiated by business requirements Act at senior executive level to ensure technology teams and business areas understand architectural options and technology choices supporting business initiatives Assess viability/priority of projects/initiatives across a large portfolio and communicate architecture issues Research/analyze business requirements to evaluate and recommend optimal solutions within technology architecture Influence product direction and integrate technology from an architectural perspective within the business environment Apply industry/technical knowledge to provide solutions that increase business results or minimize risk Contribute to an architecture framework, including technology architecture strategy, policies, guiding principles and standards to govern how technology solutions will be developed and implemented Support the development, documentation, communication and execution of a comprehensive strategy, policies and solutions Support software delivery lifecycle: strategy, requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment; experience in various delivery models and methods (agile, waterfall) Education & Experience Bachelor of Science in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent; Master of Science preferred 10 years of experience in technology related positions with a strong proven track record in architecting application and technology solutions in a large‑scale mission critical environment Experience with service‑oriented architectures, enterprise service bus technology, business process management, and/or document management beneficial Ability to work in collaborative and matrixed environment Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachmann) and delivering enterprise‑class solutions Experience in service‑oriented architecture, enterprise data architecture, integration architecture, and operations architecture Langue Nothing specified (Québec seulement) Seniority level Executive Employment type Full‑time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Banking #J-18808-Ljbffr
