As an
Animal Care Clerk
for our Quarantine facility located in
Laval , you will be responsible for the well-being of our laboratory animals. Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.
In this role, primary
responsibilities
include:
Cleaning the animal rooms; Cleaning the animal cages; Animals handling.
Key Elements
If you possess the following
qualifications , we will train you in the rest:
AEP in Animal Care (asset); Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.); Able to follow precises instructions; Passion for animals.
Please note that upon being hired, you will have to undergo an annual tuberculosis test at the expense of the company.
Role Specific Information:
Location : 531 Boul. des Prairies, Laval, QC, H7V 1B7; Transportation : Free parking. Near the Montmorency Subway; Salary : $18.50/hrs; Annual bonus based on performance; Premiums : Weekends ($2.75), Overtime (time and a half), Holidays (double time); Schedule : Weekdays, between Monday to Friday 7am to 3:15pm. Depending on the needs, you will have to do overtime and weekend rotations; Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.

About Safety Assessment Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
