Senior Site Reliability Engineer Join Akamai Technologies as we build a reliable, secure, and scalable Internet. We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help us solve complex performance and reliability challenges. Job Description Are you passionate about cutting‑edge technology and ready to tackle some of the Internet’s most difficult content delivery challenges? Our SRE team uses large datasets, statistical data analysis, and networking expertise to diagnose and improve the performance and reliability of our platform. Partner with the Best As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer you will lead SRE teams by providing mentorship, feedback, and project guidance. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to guide adoption of new features and processes. You will apply analytical skills and statistical insights to identify performance bottlenecks and reliability challenges and propose solutions. You will define, implement, and mine data feeds from third‑party and internal sources to produce insights that influence decision‑making. You will influence company decision‑making at the highest levels to identify areas for new technology investments. You will build software tools and systems to automate analytical tasks and workflows, increasing efficiency and reliability. Qualifications Relevant experience and a Bachelor’s diploma in Computer Science or its equivalent. Statistical data analysis background with experience in statistical data analysis. Proficient coding in at least one of the following languages (Python, Perl, SQL, Java, C, R). Experience with Internet protocols (DNS, HTTP, TLS, TCP). Proven ability to provide insightful and well‑received technical feedback. Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to articulate technical information in an easy‑to‑understand manner.
