Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Control Systems Engineer - Project Lead located in Kitchener, ON to join our team of experienced professionals. Responsibilities PLC Programming Design of Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) Troubleshooting of electrical, PLC, and HMI systems Interfacing with real‑time database applications to manage critical production information Supporting project proposals and estimation Preparing functional specifications Training new team members Assisting with equipment selection and procurement Site commissioning and installation Performing other duties as assigned by Project Manager Qualifications Ability to problem solve 3+ years working with PLCs (e.g. Rockwell, Siemens, etc.) Experience with Ladder Logic 2+ years experience leading controls engineering teams Knowledge of HMIs (e.g. Ignition, FactoryTalk View) Ability to read electrical schematics Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Understanding of industrial environments Strong attention to detail Ability to mentor and guide others Ability to maintain composure under pressure Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems design, Automation, Industrial Engineering or College equivalent Complete all security clearance requirements that may be required for the performance of the work Ability to obtain a TN visa for working in the US (check eligibility here) Willing to travel up to 40% throughout the year Why Work at Brock?
