If this sounds like your kind of company, then we want to hear from you. Job Description We are recruiting for Intermediate Naval Architect Technologist in Ottawa, ON and/or St. John’s, NL. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop 3D product models for ship structures in ShipConstructor for both new construction and refit projects Interpret technical, detail design and construction drawings related to ship structures design Prepare specifications, sketches, requirements, and technical drawings Review production outputs to confirm accuracy of the 3D model and associated deliverables and ensure compliance with specifications and standards Support technical discussions for project reviews Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on qualifications of applicant. Qualifications: Experience Bachelor’s degree or associate degree; OR the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work experience. Minimum 4 years of marine industry experience, with demonstrated expertise in structural modeling and drafting Proficiency in ShipConstructor is required Familiarity with Aveva E3D or PDMS is considered an asset Experience working within a shipyard is an asset.
