Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical engineering support for multiple integrated systems
- Review and evaluate subcontractor calculations, models, reports, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with customer, Classification Society, and electrical requirements
- Oversee and manage the electrical system design, ensuring alignment with requirements for related systems
- Coordinate with production teams to review and revise electrical design drawings, ensuring smooth implementation
- Manage external stakeholders, including the Design Agent, to ensure that electrical systems meet design specifications
- Support procurement and change management processes related to electrical systems, providing solutions to resolve technical issues encountered during construction
Qualifications:
- Accredited degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registration with or eligibility for registration with Engineers Nova Scotia as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
- 4-8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on integrating electrical systems
- Experience in project management, including coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Marine design and/or build experience is considered an asset
- Must meet the requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Salary Range: $85-105k/year
