**Job Description:**Boart Longyear is a leading global supplier of drilling services, drilling equipment and performance tooling. It also has a substantial presence in aftermarket parts and service, energy, mine dewatering, oil sands exploration, and production drilling.The Global Drilling Services division operates in 30 countries for a diverse mining customer base spanning a wide range of commodities, including copper, gold, nickel, zinc, uranium, and other metals and minerals. The Global Products division designs, manufactures and sells drilling equipment, performance tooling, and aftermarket parts and services to customers in over 100 countries.**Annual Salary:**$70,000-$90,000**Job Overview**The EHS&T Systems Advisor supports the development, implementation, and optimization of the EHS&T Management System across Boart Longyear Drilling Services Canada and EMEA operations. This role ensures accurate data management, reporting compliance, system configuration, and user support to drive safety performance and continuous improvement. The Advisor collaborates closely with EHS leaders, site managers, and operational teams to maintain system integrity, enhance usability, and support regulatory and corporate requirements. This role can sit in either Haileybury, ON or Saskatoon, SK.**Key Responsibilities**Maintain and administer the companyu2019s EHS and Training management systems, including user access, workflows, and data quality.Support incident reporting, investigation workflows, corrective actions, and document control within the EHS platform.Monitor system performance and ensure accurate data entry, audits, and compliance with EHS policies and regulatory standards.Generate and distribute EHS performance reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership review.Provide training, technical support, and troubleshooting to system users at all levels of the organization.Assist in the development, rollout, and continuous improvement of EHS&T processes, training modules, and SOPs.Collaborate with IT and EHS leadership to implement system updates, enhancements, integrations, and testing.Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation in accordance with internal and external requirements.Ensure consistent application of global and regional EHS&T standards across operational sites.Support audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions by preparing required documentation and system data.Coordinates with the Vendor account manager for updates and system maintenanceOther reasonable duties may be assigned as required.**Key Skills & Competencies**Strong understanding of EHS programs, compliance, and reporting requirements.Proficiency with EHS and/or Learning Management Systems (e.g., Intelex, ISN, Bridge, Safety Culture, EHSInsight Avetta, or similar).Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce clear, actionable reports.High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, recordkeeping, and system auditing.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and user support.Ability to diagnose system issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to streamline workflows and enhance system usability.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics tools (preferred).**Qualifications****Education** : Bacheloru2019s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Business Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).**Experience** :2u20135 years of experience supporting EHS, training, or compliance systems.Experience with EHS regulatory requirements (OSHA, MSHA, ISO standards).System administration experience in LMS or EHS software strongly preferred.Certifications such as NCSO, NHSA CRSP, or similar are an asset.**Languages** :Proficiency in**English**(verbal and written) required to support documentation, reporting, and system communication.Ability to communicate technical and compliance information clearly across diverse teams.**French**language skills considered an asset for supporting multilingual workforce environments.This posting reflects an existing vacancy and we are actively seeking a qualified applicant to fill the role._Boart Longyear welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
