Position : Business Systems Analyst

Location : Toronto – Hybrid


Required Skills :

1. Business Systems Analyst Experience

2. Experience with Agile methodology

3. CSPO or PSPO Certification Preferred


Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and interpret complex business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage project documentation, track progress, and report on milestones.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both technical and non-technical team members to ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions and articulate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead the effort in backlog grooming and sprint planning, prioritizing tasks to align with business goals.
  • Provide training and support to team members on Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence to enhance project delivery.
  • Implement best practices in project management and process improvement to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Continuously assess project risks and issues, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies that can benefit the organization.


Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Agile environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Jira and Confluence is mandatory.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
  • A solid understanding of business process reengineering and improvement methodologies.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development in Agile methodologies and business analysis tools.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into simple, actionable tasks.
  • Experience in facilitating training and workshops on project management tools and best practices.
