Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale AI‑driven, cloud‑native systems across both EV.com and CarAI. You will work on products that span EV marketplaces, AI assistants, real‑time data pipelines, and dealer‑facing automation tools. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working across the stack and want real ownership over systems that are live, revenue‑generating, and used by partners at scale. Key Responsibilities AI & Intelligent Systems Build and integrate AI solutions across EV.com and CarAI products Develop AI‑powered voice, messaging, and automation systems for dealerships Integrate state‑of‑the‑art AI models into data processing and production workflows Platform Development Build and maintain systems across: EV.com marketplace platform CarAI AI assistants (voice, messaging, automation) Data pipelines and analytics systems Cloud infrastructure and APIs Contribute across frontend, backend, data, and cloud layers Implementation & Collaboration Partner closely with product and business teams to design and ship features Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision‑making Collaborate with a high‑performing, remote‑first engineering team Engineering Excellence Write scalable, maintainable, and production‑grade code Apply best practices in CI/CD, cloud computing, and system reliability Continuously improve system performance, security, and developer experience Share knowledge and mentor other engineers Technical Stack Languages: Python, TypeScript Cloud: AWS Architecture: Cloud‑native, microservices, serverless Qualifications Required 2+ years of full‑time professional experience in software engineering Proficiency in at least one of: Python, TypeScript, Java, or C++ Strong understanding of: Object‑oriented programming (OOP) CI/CD pipelines Cloud computing fundamentals Solid computer science fundamentals (e.g., how systems, networking, caching, and AI work) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience Preferred Experience building web applications and APIs Experience deploying containers to public cloud platforms Familiarity with LLMs and AI‑powered products Experience with cloud‑native development (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Experience with microservices and serverless architectures Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Why Join EV.com & CarAI Competitive salary and equity/stock options Fully paid medical benefits Opportunity to work on real‑world AI products used by automotive dealers and EV consumers Exposure to cutting‑edge AI, voice, and cloud technologies High ownership, fast iteration, and direct impact on product and revenue A collaborative team that values diverse backgrounds, curiosity, and innovation #J-18808-Ljbffr
