Role:


Reporting to the Vice President Infrastructures, Québec, the Project Engineer will be responsible for project organization, coordination between teams, actions follow-up, internal and external reporting to the client. The ideal candidate is an engineer specialized in maritime or civil engineering, with a passion for project management and a desire to excel in a dynamic work environment.


The ideal candidate will have the following background, skills and attributes:


  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Maritime Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be proficient in handling Primavera 6 and Microsoft tools.
  • Experience of engineering project planification.
  • Expertise in drafting and presenting reports.
  • Successful experience of working in a multiple expertise environment.
  • Development, deployment, and continuous improvement of planning processes, procedures, and systems.
  • A good all-round team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism and integrity.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure the project management following Egis performance procedure (such as document control, change management or quality control).
  • Organize and coordinate project activities, ensuring that all teams are working together effectively to achieve project goals.
  • Follow up on project actions, ensuring that deadlines are met, and that progress is communicated to the client.
  • Identify and implement improvements in the various processes.
  • Act as the support of the project director regarding project organization providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with internal teams worldwide as well as local teams to ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and deliver project management reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
  • Keep the project schedule up to date, implement modifications, report key indicators.
  • Monitor and update the budget, in close collaboration with the Project Director, report key indicators.
  • Depending on the project, you may be asked to take on technical tasks to support the production of technical studies related to maritime or civil infrastructures upon requirements (technical documents analysis, synthesis, …).

Le rôle :


Sous la responsabilité du Vice-Président Infrastructures, Québec, l'ingénieur de projet sera responsable de l'organisation du projet, de la coordination entre les équipes, du suivi des actions, du reporting interne et externe au client. Le candidat idéal est un ingénieur spécialisé en génie maritime ou civil, passionné par la gestion de projets et désireux d'exceller dans un environnement de travail dynamique.


Le candidat idéal doit posséder les connaissances, compétences et qualités suivantes :


  • Diplôme en génie civil, en génie maritime ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Parler couramment le français et l'anglais, avec d'excellentes aptitudes à la communication écrite et orale.
  • Maîtrise de Primavera 6 et des outils Microsoft.
  • Expérience de la planification de projets d'ingénierie.
  • Expertise dans la rédaction et la présentation de rapports.
  • Expérience réussie du travail dans un environnement à compétences multiples.
  • Développement, déploiement et amélioration continue des processus, procédures et systèmes de planification.
  • Un bon esprit d'équipe et la capacité de travailler dans des délais serrés.
  • Membre de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Solides compétences en matière d'organisation et de gestion du temps, avec la capacité d'établir des priorités et d'effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois de manière efficace.
  • Excellentes aptitudes à la résolution de problèmes, avec une approche proactive et collaborative du travail.
  • Capacité à travailler de manière indépendante et en équipe, avec un haut niveau de professionnalisme et d'intégrité.


Principales responsabilités :


  • Assurer la gestion du projet en suivant les procédures de performance d'Egis (telles que le contrôle des documents, la gestion des changements ou le contrôle de la qualité).
  • Organiser et coordonner les activités du projet, en veillant à ce que toutes les équipes collaborent efficacement pour atteindre les objectifs du projet.
  • Assurer le suivi des actions du projet, en veillant à ce que les délais soient respectés et que les progrès soient communiqués au client.
  • Identifier et mettre en œuvre des améliorations dans les différents processus.
  • Soutenir le directeur de projet en ce qui concerne l'organisation du projet, en fournissant des mises à jour régulières et en répondant à toutes les préoccupations ou questions qui peuvent se poser.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes internes dans le monde entier ainsi qu'avec les équipes locales pour s'assurer que les produits livrés dans le cadre du projet répondent aux normes de qualité et qu'ils sont livrés dans les délais et dans le respect du budget.
  • Préparer et fournir des rapports de gestion de projet, des présentations et d'autres documents selon les besoins.
  • Tenir à jour le calendrier du projet, mettre en œuvre les modifications, rendre compte des indicateurs clés.
  • Contrôler et mettre à jour le budget, en étroite collaboration avec le directeur de projet, et rendre compte des indicateurs clés.
  • En fonction du projet, vous pouvez être amené à prendre en charge des tâches techniques pour soutenir la production d'études techniques liées aux infrastructures maritimes ou civiles selon les besoins (analyse de documents techniques, synthèse, ...).
