Database SRE – Quantum World Technologies Inc. Experience: 8–12 years Role summary Database SRE who is hands‑on with MSSQL on Azure and can also front‑end the customer, manage stakeholders, and coordinate closely with the offshore delivery team. Key responsibilities Own MSSQL databases on Azure (stability, performance, availability) Troubleshoot and tune queries, jobs, indexing, and resource usage Handle backups, restores, HA/DR, and DB maintenance Support releases/hotfixes involving DB schema and data Act as primary technical contact for the customer on DB/SRE topics Coordinate with offshore team on priorities, task closure, and incident follow‑ups Lead incident calls, RCAs, and provide clear status/risk updates Mentor offshore engineers and enforce standards/best practices Required skills 8+ years in MS SQL‑centric roles (DBA / Production Support / SRE) in 24×7 environments Strong MSSQL (2016+): T‑SQL, performance tuning, jobs, stored procs, HA/DR Solid experience running SQL workloads on Azure Good understanding of Windows Server Proven customer‑facing experience and offshore coordination Strong communication and stakeholder management Must have Exposure to .NET/ASP.NET apps Familiarity with DevOps/CI‑CD tools and monitoring/observability Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Contract Job function: Information Technology Industries: Staffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr
