Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: On-site | Windsor, CA Compensation: $80K - $120K (DOE) We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of hands‑on experience in mechanical design. This full‑time, on‑site opportunity is to join a dynamic team focused on designing and improving mechanical systems and components for commercial applications. Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) Create detailed 3‑D models and engineering drawings with accurate GD&T Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, R&D, and quality to ensure design feasibility and performance Conduct tolerance analysis and support design validation through prototyping and testing Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment Experience with SolidWorks or related CAD program Introductory knowledge of machining, sheet metal, or light automation Familiarity with PLM systems and engineering change processes Proficiency in CAD tools and familiarity with FEA software Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA principles Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Benefits Competitive Salary ($80K - $120K) Bonus Medical Dental Vision Paid Time Off Vacation Pay Strong mentorship opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
