Base pay range CA$90.00/hr - CA$95.00/hr About the Role Our Client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support major digital transformation initiatives across Ontario’s public services. This role requires strong expertise in data analysis , systems integration , requirements gathering , business process design , and stakeholder management . You will work closely with business units, IT teams, and senior leadership to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements. The ideal candidate brings experience working in Ontario Public Sector (OPS) or similar government environments. What You’ll Do Data and Systems Analysis Lead elicitation and documentation of data, system, and integration requirements Develop DRDs, SRDs, ERDs, UML models, and data flow diagrams Create use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria Perform data mapping, SQL querying, and analysis to support solution design Provide recommendations for data consistency, quality, and optimization Business and Requirements Analysis Lead development of BRDs, FRDs, process maps, BPMN workflows, and swim lane diagrams Analyze business problems and identify technology driven improvements Support workflow optimization and systems re engineering initiatives Stakeholder Engagement Act as the main bridge between business teams, IT, and vendors Lead requirements workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder interviews Present findings, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership Identify automation opportunities and support digital transformation strategies Perform system reviews to improve efficiency and service delivery Support adoption of data driven decision making across the cluster Work across Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall environments Support backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and sprint execution Ensure business and data requirements are clearly translated to technical teams What You Bring Core Skills (Must Have) Strong experience in data analysis, requirements gathering, and systems re engineering Proficiency with Visio, BPMN, swim lane diagrams, and process modelling tools Ability to define use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria Experience facilitating workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder interviews Hands on experience with SQL, workflow analysis, and business systems Proven ability to deliver in high pressure, deadline driven projects Experience working on large scale, full life cycle IT projects Technical Tools Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, Figma SharePoint, MS Teams Power BI, Advanced Excel, SQL (nice to have) Knowledge of ERP/CRM/Cloud systems (asset) Seniority level Associate Employment type Contract Job function Research, Analyst, and Information Technology Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Teckhorizon Inc by 2x.
