Senior User Experience Researcher – Siemens Healthineers (Eastern Canada) Join our global health technology organization to pioneer breakthroughs in healthcare. In this role, you will coordinate user research across software projects, working closely with clinics, users, and patients to enable a truly user‑centered approach. You will reside in Eastern Canada with less than 25 % travel and be near an international airport. Responsibilities Develop a deep understanding of users through explorative and generative research, especially in new domains. Identify user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform product strategy and innovation. Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Partner with cross‑functional teammates – interaction and visual designers, product managers, and other stakeholders – to identify research needs, set goals, and plan & execute tactical & foundational research. Moderate inspiring ideation workshops with a global multidisciplinary team. Define measurable goals for product user experience to align with the project team on the right things to build, using testable metrics. Ensure user insights are reflected in design concepts and solutions. Advocate for end users and promote a research‑ and data‑driven culture across the organization. Qualifications A master’s degree in human‑computer interaction, psychology, or a related field. 8+ years of deep industry experience in user research with knowledge of a variety of research methods, especially explorative and generative methods. Proven ability to think conceptually and work in ambiguous, early‑stage product development while balancing constraints within a regulated industry. Extensive collaboration experience with product management, design, and development to influence strategic decisions. Strong communication skills and ability to tell compelling stories with data and insights to product teams and upper management. Additional health and wellness benefits, paid time off, and holiday pay are included.
