About the Role We are partnering with a well-established financial services organization to hire a Senior Software Developer with strong full‑stack C# .NET experience and substantial exposure to finance or accounting driven systems. This role sits on a highly collaborative engineering team responsible for building and enhancing core platforms used across fund administration, investment operations, and financial reporting. It is an excellent opportunity for a senior developer who enjoys working close to the business, understands financial data flows, and wants to build scalable, long‑lived systems rather than narrow feature slices. What You’ll Be Doing Design, build, and maintain full stack applications using C# .NET Work closely with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate financial requirements into technical solutions Enhance and support systems related to fund accounting, reporting, and operational workflows Contribute to application architecture using SOA and object‑oriented design principles Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design sessions Support production systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives Required Experience 5–10+ years of professional software development experience 3–5+ years of hands‑on C# .NET development Strong full‑stack experience (not frontend only or backend only) Experience building enterprise‑grade applications in financial or accounting‑heavy environments Solid understanding of relational databases and data‑driven systems Technical Stack Core: C# .NET ASP.NET MVC MS SQL Front End / Integration: AngularJS WCF XML Architecture & Concepts: SOA Object Oriented Programming Java experience may be considered if accompanied by strong, recent C# .NET work. Nice to Have Background in finance, accounting, or investment operations Prior experience as a Financial Analyst, Accountant, Payroll, AP/AR, or similar Academic exposure to Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics Professional designations or progress toward CFA, CPA/CA, CSC, IFC, or MBA Experience working on proprietary platforms within financial services or fintech Ideal Candidate Profile Curious, continuous learner who enjoys improving systems and processes Strong communicator able to explain technical concepts clearly Collaborative, team‑oriented, and easy to work with Practical, efficient, and solutions‑focused Comfortable working in fast‑paced, business‑critical environments Work Authorization Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident required Strong English communication skills required Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $110,000–$130,000 Paid overtime Annual discretionary bonus Full benefits package RRSP matching Permanent, full‑time employment Hiring Process Resume review HR screen plus short C# technical assessment Technical interview with Architect and Engineering Manager CTO discussion Offer and reference checks Full background check conducted by the employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
