29954 -RFR-DTS-044– Dynamics Great Plains Developer Duration: Up to 6 months. Office Location: Onsite & Remote. All services will be performed on-site with the primary location at 215 Garry Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Remote work may be allowed at Manitoba's discretion. Standard working hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm CST, Monday to Friday. Overtime requires prior written approval. Role Description The Dynamics Great Plains Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom applications and integrations. Responsibilities Solution Design & Development – design, develop, and deploy custom applications, APIs, and integrations using Microsoft Dynamics GP. Collaboration with Stakeholders – work with business analysts, project managers, and other team members to gather requirements, ensure proper implementation, and meet project milestones. Quality Assurance & Testing – ensure the quality and performance of all applications by performing testing, troubleshooting, and debugging. Coding and Testing – write, test, and deploy code to meet quality standards. Best Practices & Documentation – develop and maintain technical documentation, following best practices for version control, release management, and deployment. Data Management – oversee data migration, data integration, and data quality assurance processes. Project Management – participate in project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time. Skill Requirements & Qualifications Minimum qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Power Platform. Proven experience in developing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics GP modules. Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and data modeling. Experience integrating Microsoft Dynamics with third‑party applications via APIs and connectors. Hands‑on experience with model‑driven apps, canvas apps, and custom connectors in Power Apps. Technical Skills Basic skill in Dexterity to build custom forms and business logic. Intermediate proficiency with Visual Studio Tools for GP and C#. Advanced experience with eConnect SDK for programmatic data operations. Advanced ability to work with GP Web Services and create REST or SOAP wrappers. Advanced skills in SQL Server, T‑SQL, SSRS, and Power BI. Basic knowledge of Power Automate, Dataverse, and custom connectors. Basic experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Basic debugging skills using Visual Studio and SQL Profiler. Basic familiarity with GP Power Tools for low‑code tweaks. Soft Skills Excellent problem‑solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality results. Background Check Requirement A clean criminal record check status will be required at the proponent's expense prior to the successful Service Provider Resource(s) arriving onsite or working remotely, and must be maintained throughout the contract. An enhanced background check may be required for certain projects.
