Maintain large turbine helicopters in Parksville as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, applying mechanical troubleshooting and repair expertise onsite. Rotor Maxx Support offers permanent full-time employment.
This Aircraft Maintenance Engineer position covers general aircraft maintenance within a repair and overhaul facility. You will adjust, inspect, repair, overhaul, and document aircraft systems according to technical instructions. The work includes hydraulic, mechanical, structural, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot aircraft hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Repair and overhaul structural, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Inspect aircraft systems against Transport Canada standards
- Install or modify engines and aircraft systems
- Maintain repair, inspection, and certification records
Requirements:
- Aircraft maintenance experience in a repair and overhaul facility
- Knowledge of large turbine helicopters
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical instructions
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation
- Reliability, hand-eye coordination, and physical capability
