In this vital position, you will manage the truck weighing process while ensuring precise data collection for effective inventory and contract management. Working primarily from the scale house, you will also monitor yard activities to maintain security. Exceptional customer service skills are expected when interacting with drivers and third-party brokers, alongside general support to the warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the weigh scale with accuracy
• Monitor yard operations and report any irregularities
• Interact positively with customers and drivers
• Provide administrative support for railcar operations
• Assist with administrative duties across the warehouse
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a cashier is preferred (1 to 2 years)
• Background in administrative roles is beneficial
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Commitment to following operational guidelines
• Familiarity with inventory systems preferred
