Learn more about the role Your Contribution Your main responsibilities Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules; Responsible for project management and delivery of geotechnical investigations and analysis for engineering studies for deep and shallow foundations (static, seismic and dynamic machine loadings); Infrastructure (new and replacements, including sewer and watermains, pipelines, telecommunication towers, highways, bridges, railways); Slope and earth structure stability, tailings dams, hydrogeology studies, stormwater control facilities, in-situ testing; Instrumentation, construction inspection and laboratory testing; You will also play a keyrole on the engineering team providing leadership and mentoring of the team members; Prepare Technical proposals and write engineering reports; Business Development, client liaison and management. Your Profile What makes you unique University degree in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering; Completion of advanced or specialized university courses in geotechnical engineering and foundation engineering (Masters’ degree an asset); 6+ years of solid Geotechnical engineering experience; Experience in geotechnical related work such as site investigations, design of deep and shallow foundations, slope stability and on-site review of construction activities (asset); Current registration with MTO's RAQs for foundations and / or tunneling disciplines an asset; Registration with PEO; Fluent English, written and spoken; Demonstrated ability that you are well organized, show initiative and can manage a team of geotechnical engineers and technicians; Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
