Job Description We are looking for a Project Manager to be based in Ontario, CA for a critical role in our organization. Responsibilities include: Assume full responsibility for the comprehensive management and administration of highway and roadway projects. Lead and provide strategic guidance to subordinate managers, enforce company and project policies, and serve as the primary liaison between AECOM and client stakeholders. Ensure all project facets are constructed according to design specifications, budget constraints and schedule requirements. Bear accountability for budgeting, scheduling, procurement and contract closeout, with significant profit and loss responsibility. Develop and implement project management plans, risk management strategies, quality control measures and resource allocation plans. Coordinate with engineering, design, environmental and construction teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery. Conduct regular project status meetings, providing clear updates on progress, challenges and solutions. Mitigate project risks, develop contingency plans and oversee procurement of required documentation. Collaborate with business development teams, prepare proposals and support client presentations and negotiations. Mentor junior staff, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth. Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline + 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education. Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain California PE within twelve months. Strong communication and leadership skills. Experience with business development and client relations. Demonstrated progression in leadership and responsibility. Project management experience leading small to medium highway projects. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Compensation Salary range: $130,300.15 – $241,055.29 per year, based on education, qualifications and experience.
