For more information, visit Responsibilities Serve as a board-certified expert in the delivery of Family Medicine medical care to all ages of active duty personnel, their dependents, eligible Navy Civilian employees, and other eligible beneficiaries. Independently formulate full treatment plans based on sound evaluation and diagnoses consistent with current evidence-based clinical practice guidelines, coordinating with facility and community resources to provide comprehensive care. Perform emergency services or crisis intervention, including life-saving emergency procedures when necessary. Promote preventive and health maintenance care, emphasizing positive health behaviors through education and counseling. Participate in quality assurance, risk management, performance improvement programs, and peer review programs, recommending improvements to work methods and organizational features. Serve as a faculty member for the Family Medicine Residency Program, mentoring and supervising residency students, teaching didactics, and participating in teaching conferences and case discussions. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications US Citizenship required Degree: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited U.S. or Canadian school, or an equivalent foreign degree that meets U.S. equivalency standards. Board Certification: Must possess and maintain board certification in Family Medicine by a nationally recognized board. Licensure: Current, active, full, and unrestricted physician license or registration from a U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory. Graduate Training: At least one year of supervised clinical experience following graduation (e.g., internship or first year of residency in an accredited hospital). #J-18808-Ljbffr
