Senior Project Manager, QPESA (Excess Soil Projects) Join to apply for the Senior Project Manager, QPESA (Excess Soil Projects) role at Pinchin in Canada Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation Southern Ontario Make an Impact at Pinchin Pinchin Ltd. is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Qualified Person (QP) to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team, focusing on Excess Soils and Record of Site Condition (RSC) projects across Southern Ontario. This role offers hybrid or fully remote flexibility. As a Senior Project Manager, you will develop your own client portfolio, provide technical direction, and play a pivotal role in business development. You will also review proposals and reports for clients, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. What You Will Be Doing At Pinchin Lead Projects: Oversee Excess Soils and RSC projects, ensuring full compliance with Ontario’s Excess Soil Regulation, Soil Rules, and O. Reg 153/04. Prepare & Certify Documentation: Sign off on APUs, SAPs, SCRs, and ESDARs, ensuring all meet Soil Rules and Regulation 406/19 standards. Client Engagement: Serve as the principal contact for clients, meeting with them to understand requirements and preparing tailored proposals and cost estimates. Proposal and Technical Report reviews: Review O. Reg 153/04 and Excess Soils proposals and reports for clients, collaborating with Technical Managers and other Senior Reviewers to ensure accuracy and alignment with client needs. Team Leadership: Mentor and coordinate junior and intermediate staff, providing training and technical guidance. Business Development: Identify new opportunities with existing and prospective clients, and support direct marketing initiatives. Financial Management: Manage project budgets, invoicing, and subcontractor processes to ensure profitability and client satisfaction. Continuous Improvement: Recommend process enhancements to the Operations Manager and Director to drive quality and efficiency. What You Bring To The Pinchin Team Bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. Professional designation (P.Geo., P.Eng., or LET and QPESA) required. 7 to 8 years of experience in consulting, project management, or industry roles with a focus on Excess Soils and RSCs. Proven expertise in RSC submissions and Ontario environmental regulations (153/04, 406/19). Strong business development and client relationship skills. Experience preparing and reviewing proposals and reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project). Valid driver’s license and insurance (travel expenses reimbursed). Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
