Permanent Full-Time Billing Coordinator Vacancy #: 37F26 | Location: Regina | Branch: Financial Services Overview SLGA seeks a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented Billing Coordinator to support invoicing for Retail Store Permittees, Suppliers, and Producers. The role requires on‑site work and reporting to the Financial Consultant, Financial Planning and Forecasting. Summary The Billing Coordinator communicates with internal and external customers, processes daily invoicing, and provides administrative assistance, including customer research, billing setup, and correspondence preparation. Primary Responsibilities Enter data from forms and upload files such as journal entries, customer, and electronic billing setups. Upload and process daily invoicing from multiple systems, correcting any issues or errors and ensuring reconciliation. Operate computers and other office equipment, including scanners and photocopiers. Prepare various correspondence for internal and external communication. Answer incoming telephone calls and e‑mails, referring inquiries appropriately. Test billing processes in multiple systems for any changes to billing processes. Required Technical Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications Certificate or diploma related to Finance or Accounting; 1‑2 years of experience may be considered. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and financial principles and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain open and honest relationships with staff and external agencies. Problem‑solving and analytical skills. Proficient in spreadsheet software with speed and accuracy. Ability to work independently or in a team. Knowledge and experience in a computerized environment. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven interpersonal skills and data entry skills. Adaptable to changes and efficiencies to processes. Working Conditions Core office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday to Friday. This role is primarily desk‑based, with most of the work day dedicated to computer use, keyboarding, data analysis, and system navigation. In the course of their duties, the Billing Coordinator may need to interact with customers who are experiencing frustration or dissatisfaction.
