We look for a talented lawyer eager to help supercharge our business through excellent legal advice and solid processes. You’ll play a key role in shaping our legal department and mentoring junior teammates. What You Bring Experienced and qualified lawyer Interested in working for a tech‑scale‑up, especially HR‑tech Extensive experience in legal practice, preferably in labor and employment law Ability to master Remote's communication (Slack), contract management, and documentation tools (Notion, Google Drive) Eager to learn about different legal systems and employment laws Creative legal thinker – innovative, out‑of‑the‑box solutions Excellent communication skills: writes and speaks fluent English; additional languages helpful Proven ability to work autonomously and lead legal projects Experience in mentoring junior legal professionals Remote experience not required but considered a plus Key Responsibilities Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Experience, Onboarding, Lifecycle, Ops) to manage expectations and adopt a customer‑centric approach. Identify improvement areas and develop template contracts, playbooks, SOPs, and knowledge resources, focusing on the EOR product. Conduct in‑depth legal research on new products and laws, identifying risks and opportunities. Drive the enhancement of Remote’s legal function, implement best practices and innovative solutions. Mentor, train, and support junior legal team members. Manage relationships with Local Counsel for escalated matters and lead litigations and collections when needed. Propose innovative solutions to legal problems and processes. Expertly manage internal and client escalations. Collaborate with the Legal Ops team on efficiency and AI projects related to your expertise.
